In wanting to offer a comprehensive solution for clients, Larry recognized the need and the opportunity to offer mortgage financing to General Pacific customers. In 2001, General Pacific Finance opened as a separate company yet still situated in the General Pacific offices. It is a full-service mortgage lending institution with an assortment of mortgage programs.

"Having a mortgage lending company directly affiliated with the company and located conveniently within our office made a huge difference for our operation, " Larry says, adding, "we are able to offer our clients a one-stop service for their real estate and mortgage needs which dramatically improves the communication and reduces the time it takes to move through the process."

Agents need only walk down the hall to get an update on the status of the financing for any customer. By working closely with General Pacific Finance, agents can get their clients pre-approved and in a position to move quickly on a property, which is a must in such a competitive market. The agents are also very versed in exactly what is needed to close and fund transactions.

Senior Loan Officer Jason Bartyn oversees all of the mortgage lending business with clients of General Pacific agents, but has grown the business with many agents from other firms bringing clients. Being closely affiliated with General Pacific is beneficial for the company and customers alike.
